About Our Project
PWIC Global Impact was invited to join a program to assist the United Nations to fulfill five (5) of their seventeen (17) sustainable goals to bring positive change to society.

Our Goals
Our goal is to work in New Orleans Lower Ninth Ward Community to make the
community productive, resilient, and equitable by doing the following:
- Working with families to help them become financially independent, productive, and resilient
- Beautifying the community with trees, plants, and landscaping
- Reconstructing streets, sewer, and other infrastructure
- Restructure and enhance the educational system
- Working with New Orleans Sheriff’s Office and other community leaders to educate inmates and reentry persons to reduce recidivism and crime
- Educating the community about good health, financial stability, working together, and life balance
- Providing programs on equality and diversity
- Working with government leaders for higher minimum wages
- Connecting and collaborating with businesses, local, national and international leaders
Why New Orleans?
New Orleans is a tourism city that is known worldwide. New Orleans citizens
and community have never recovered from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
